The Oral Historian is a fine art print from my Novel Bodies, Novel Landscapes series.
In this world, she listens to, catalogs, and shares the stories of every inhabitant of the Novel Landscape. One of the few immortals, she preserves and carries the lives of the living and the dead beyond the limits of time. She wears a tall petal crown that holds these stories — revered by her community, she connects each person to themselves and to each other.
This museum-quality print is made from a high-resolution scan of the original mixed media collage, so the texture and color stay true to the piece as I made it.
